Who is she?

Chef Mandy Jay—a self-professed lifelong foodie—brings her unique worldly flavor to every dish she creates. The Bay Area-based chef got her start throwing killer dinner parties for friends while also side-hustling with established companies throughout Northern California (Foxtail Catering, Chef Anna Rose, Sea Stars Catering & Events) and staging at several S.F. staples including NOPA and former Barzotto and Mason Pacific.

She now blends this background with her passion to create special culinary experiences: popping up at local venues to serve her cult classic "Mama's Mac", throwing bespoke private dinner parties for clients and most recently offering a weekly meal prep service for busy families—with custom designed menus inspired by people, her favorite places and the seasons.

Mandy is constantly collecting new inspiration from her travels in world food capitals to inform the recipes she makes in her own kitchen. It is in preparing this distinguished cuisine that she also hopes to create memories worth savoring.
